AUDITION INFORMATION:
The Covey Theater Company is looking to cast individuals 18+ for this full production and encourages everyone to join us, regardless of race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, and all protected individuals in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
AUDITION DATES AND TIMES:
-Saturday, January 24; 2pm-5pm (in person)
-Sunday, January 25; 2pm-5pm (in person)
(Potential) INVITED CALLBACKS:
-Monday, January 26; 7pm-9pm (in person)
-Virtual auditions will be open: January 24-25. Virtual auditioners may be required to appear in person for callbacks.
-Please submit virtual auditions through The Covey website: http://Coveytheater.com/auditions (will not be available until January 24)
AUDITION LOCATION:
Rock Center
999 Cumberland Ave, Syracuse, NY*
*On-street parking is available on Cumberland Ave and Tecumseh Rd. Please be cautious not to block private driveways.
*Please use the Nottingham Rd entrance to the building
ADDITIONAL AUDITION INFORMATION:
-Please prepare 32 bars of an up-tempo musical theater song (William Finn is preferred)
-Please bring sheet music in your preferred key, marked and in a binder, as an accompanist will be provided
-Sides from the script for cold readings will be provided at the audition; if necessary
-No dance call
-Improvisation experience welcomed; you may be asked to partake in an improv exercise at the discretion of the director
-No appointment necessary, arrive anytime during our audition period
-All roles are open
