Zachary Blaszak (The Baker) is so excited to be making their debut with Covey! Alex Bronchetti (Lucinda) is thrilled to be making her Covey debut! She is a rising sophomore at New York University, where she is pursuing her BFA in Drama at Tisch School of the Arts. Favorite credits include Catherine in A View from the Bridge (NYU/Atlantic Acting Studio) and Judy in 9 to 5, Emma in The Prom, and Miss Honey in Matilda (Jamesville-DeWitt High School). Kevin Castro (Narrator) is incredibly excited to work with Covey once again! He has previously been in Grease (Sonny)  and How To Succeed… (Tackaberry). He’s also worked with Baldwinsville Theatre Guild in Rent and Pippin, both in the ensemble. As always, he would like to thank his incredible sister, Maddie Castro, for pulling him out of his cave and getting him involved in theater!

Maddie Castro (Rapunzel)- Maddie is thrilled to be back in the Bevard for this year’s Covey production of Into the Woods! You may have seen her in other Covey productions portraying Rosemary Pilkington (How to Succeed…), Jan (Grease!), and Wedding Soloist (Company). Other credits include Maureen Johnson (Rent/BTG), Ensemble (Pippin/Baldwinsville Theater Guild), Veronica Sawyer (Heathers/CNY Playhouse), Nicola (Kinky Boots/BTG), and Wednesday Addams (The Addams Family/CNY Playhouse). She would like to thank her family and friends for their continuous love and support of the arts. She’s thrilled to be sharing the stage with her brother Kevin yet again! Enjoy the show!

Chelsea Colton (Florinda) - Chelsea is thrilled to be a part of this production with Covey Theater Company. Previous credits include Ida Ferrier in Les Trois Dumas (Redhouse Arts Center) Leading Player in Pippin (BTG), Sandy in Grease (Covey Theater Company), Six/Annie in Chicago (Covey Theater Company), Val in A Chorus Line (BTG), Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde: The Musical (Manlius Musical), Martha in Spring Awakening (Syracuse Summer Theater) and Rosie/Kit Kat Girl in Cabaret (Syracuse Summer Theater). Chelsea also choreographed How To Succeed… with Covey Theater Company, Godspell at Redhouse Arts Center, and Company with Covey Theater Company. Andrew Condon  (Cinderella’s Father) - is delighted to be joining Covey Theater Company for his second time after portraying Pete Peterson (How to Succeed…) in 2024. Andrew received his B.S. in 2019 from SUNY Fredonia in TV/Digital Film Studies and his M.S. in 2022 from Georgetown University’s School of Communications, Culture, and Technology. Andrew is currently pursuing academic opportunities at Syracuse University, where he instructs in Film and Media Studies. Andrew will be appearing as Sammy in BTG’s The Wedding Singer this October.

Jamie Cox (Sleeping Beauty) is very honored to be back with Covey Theatre. She is originally from Queens, NYC, and has an education background from Frank Sinatra School of the Arts and SUNY Fredonia B.F.A in Musical Theatre. Latest Credits were (Secretary) in How to Succeed…, (Loud Stone) in Eurydice, (Janet Van Degraff) in The Drowsy Chaperon,e and (Pearl) in The SpongeBob Musical. And remember to always say EXCUSE ME when finding your seats. Enjoy the Show! 

Carmen Viviano-Crafts (Baker's Wife)- is elated to be venturing into the woods again, after playing Cinderella (twice!) in other productions. There are too many favorite roles to include, but most recently, Carmen had the pleasure of originating the role of Older Evelyn in our own Garrett Heater's original musical, Evelyn, and participating in several staged readings of new works throughout the community. This and every performance is for Dad. I'm always listening for your "BRAVO!" Thank YOU for helping to keep the arts alive and well in our community!

Joe Gauzza (Rapunzel’s Prince) - is a BA of Theatre Arts recipient (Le Moyne College) as well as an MFA recipient in Performing Arts from The Savannah College of Arts and Design. Joe is excited to return to Covey Theater, having portrayed Joe Hardy in the company’s production of Damn Yankees in 2019 and Danny Zuko in Grease in 2024. His credits also include Chad (All Shook Up), Dolokhov (Great Comet), and Teddy (Titanic by Christopher Durang). Joe is excited to be portraying Rapunzel’s Prince in this adaptation of Into the Woods. He would like to thank his family for their unending support, as well as the incredible team behind this production.

Garrett Heater (Director) - is the artistic director and a co-founder of The Covey Theater Company, former producing artistic director of NYC-based Chelsea Opera, and former artistic director of Syracuse Summer Theatre at The Oncenter and Syracuse Opera. He is an award-winning playwright, including the NYC and locally produced Lizzie Borden Took an Axe, Playing God, and Lincoln’s Blood. Other locally-produced works include Evelyn, Co-op(erative), Aktion, and My Life as a Soprano. Original staged readings include Rom-Com, The Utterly Predictable Rise and Fall of Congressman Cassidy Brown, and The Dunes; a Confessional Comedy. In 5th grade, Garrett created an ‘Into the Woods’ board game. He’s still waiting for someone to play it with him. 

Marcus Herndon (Steward) - is glad to spend another summer with Covey! Marcus currently teaches at Syracuse University in the Department of Drama. They have found their love of performing again with Covey Theater Company.  You may have seen them in previous Covey productions such as: Donalbain/Doctor (Macbeth), Ensemble (Grease!), and Paul (Company). You can see them this October in Baldwinsville Theater Guild’s production of The Wedding Singer in the ensemble. Marcus would like to thank their amazing family for all the support!

Diane Jones (Lady Giant) - is Program Manager and mid-day host at WCNY Classic FM.  Host and producer of the nationally syndicated program, Feminine Fusion, her voice resonates around the region and across the country.  With every step, her presence fills the room.  As a composer, her music has crossed oceans, and as a performer, she has been lauded for both her monstrous flute and her towering talent.  She is enormously grateful to have this opportunity to shout at people.

Colin Keating (Music Director) This marks Colin’s third production with Covey. He received both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Music from Syracuse University. Colin is the director of Choral Music at C. W. Baker in Baldwinsville, where he also serves as the Executive Producer of the district’s theater arts program. Colin has directed and music directed countless shows with theater organizations throughout the Central New York community. He has been honored with Syracuse Area Live Theater (SALT) Awards for both directing and music directing. For 14 summers, Colin was the Music Supervisor and Box Office Manager at The Weathervane Theater, a regional theater in Northern New Hampshire.  He is a two-time recipient of the New Hampshire Theater Award for Best Professional Music Director. Thanks to RJK and LMK for supporting me on this crazy journey of life!

Janna Kozloski (Cinderella) - is happy to be back with Covey! Recent credits include Lady M (Macbeth), Kathy (Company), Bless the Lord (Godspell/Redhouse), Ensemble (Bridges…/Redhouse), Lauren (Kinky Boots), and Judy (A Chorus Line). BFA in Musical Theatre (Nazareth University).  MS in School Librarianship (SUNY Buffalo). Janna is also a Director/Choreographer and will be directing The Wedding Singer at BTG this October. Thanks to Mom, T, E, B, and my Not-So-Faraway Prince, Marshall. For Dad, always. 

Jennifer LaMonica (Step-mother)- delighted to make her debut with the Covey Theatre Company! Other roles include Muzzy Van Hossmere (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Jan (Grease), George’s Mother (Sunday in the Park with George), Ensemble (Anything Goes),  The Boyfriend (Madame Dubonnet), U/S Beggar Woman (Sweeney Todd), and Ensemble (Jekyll and Hyde). Opera- Step-sister (Cendrillon), Amor (Orfeo ed Euridice). Studied MT  (AMDA/NYC). Currently studying Music Education/Vocal Performance at Syracuse University. Thanks to her family and friends for their support—especially her mom for always believing in her.

Tallon Larham (Wolf) is so happy to be returning to the Covey stage. He most recently performed as Billy Flynn in the 2023 production of Chicago. Tallon has been performing in the Syracuse area for the past 20 years and has had the honor to sing and act for not only the Covey Theater Company, but also the Baldwinsville Theater Guild, CNY Playhouse, and Syracuse Opera.

Mary Musial (Witch)- is ecstatic to be crossing this role off her bucket list! Other favorite roles include Snow White (Disenchanted), Jeannie Ryan (Hair), Blanche Barrow (Bonny and Clyde), Maureen (Rent), Meg Boyd (Damn Yankees), and Countess Aurelia (Dear World). As always, Mary thanks Brian for his love and support! “Careful the things you say….”

Marshall Pokrentowski (Cinderella’s Prince) - is thrilled to be back on stage with the Covey Theatre Company, performing a personal favorite show! Recent credits for Marshall include Benny (RENT) at BTG, Banquo (Macbeth), and Peter (Company) with Covey. Marshall teaches music in the Fayetteville-Manlius School District, where he produces and co-directs the Wellwood Middle School musical. Marshall would like to thank his family and his wonderful fiancée, Janna, for always pushing him to be the best he can be. 

Mae Harrington O’Neill (Snow White) is thrilled to make her stage debut in Into the Woods, her favorite musical of all time. A lifelong theatergoer, Mae is honored to join Covey’s magical production and bring these beloved fairytales to life. 

Jesse Tenorio (Little Red Ridinghood) is excited to be back with Covey after performing as Marta in Company last year.  Jesse loves performing, reading, and having healthy conversations about death.  That's not a typo.  She also loves Matt Tenorio, Mom, Dad, Jackie, Dewey, Barnaby, and the moon.  This is for both of my grandmothers: one who is here with us and one who is “here with us.” Thank you for coming! 

Matthew Tenorio (Jack) can’t wait to climb up the beanstalk in his Covey debut! When not on stage, Matt can be found teaching physics, coaching soccer, and directing musicals at Solvay High School. Some previous CNY credits include: Frank Abagnale Jr. (Catch Me If You Can, Manlius Musical), Michael (Bridges of Madison County, RedHouse), Ensemble (The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Rev), and Man 1 (35MM, CNYP). Matt would like to thank everyone involved in this production for creating real magic in the BeVard, as well as his beautiful wife Jesse, Dewey, Barnaby, and his parents. 

Elizabeth Phan (Stage Manager) is happy to return to Covey after managing "How to Succeed...." This is her second production as a stage manager for Covey Theater. Her inspiration as a stage manager came from Onondaga Community College, where she was a Floor Manager in a Television Studio. After transferring to SUNY Oswego, she studied Theater as a minor, focusing on Stage Management. Her first gig was as an assistant manager for a virtual production, Dog Sees God. After graduating in 2021, she started at Syracuse Shakespeare in the Park as a Stage Manager for "Midsummer..." Immediately after, she joined CNY Playhouse as a Stage Manager for "Clue." She would like to thank Sara and Garrett for 

bringing her back as a stage manager! She truly appreciates this opportunity! She also wants to thank her family, friends, and especially her fiancé, Ben, for supporting her dreams.

Imogen Whyte (Props Master) is thrilled to be working with Covey Theater for the first time! This is not her first time building barnyard animals- she has worked previously as props master for Baldwinsville Theater Guild’s August Osage County, as well as CNY Playhouse’s Nevermore, Book of Will, Clue, Heathers, and Prescription Murder. She would like to thank her cat, Susu, for tolerating her building Milky White in their apartment. 

Dan Williams (Jack's Mom) - is thrilled to be on stage in…Woods after having been a musician on it in many productions, including with Garrett at Caz College ten minutes (years!) ago! Dan has music directed How to Succeed…, Grease, and Rent for Covey and Pippin and Damn Yankees for SCT. He was Mary Sunshine in Chicago and Margaret Meade in Hair for Covey, as well. A most recent stage appearance was as Jane Seymour in Try Me, Good King for Civic Morning Musicals.

Diane Zarnowski (Cinderella’s mother/Granny) is excited to be on stage with Covey Theater for the first time. Previous roles include Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz with Baldwinsville Theater Guild. She also performed with Syracuse Opera Chorus from 2004-2024. Diane is a cantor at St. Mary’s of the Assumption in Baldwinsville and performs with Syracuse Pops Chorus.
