We are pleased to announce AUDITIONS for The Covey Theater Company’s summer production of the musical classic, GREASE.

• Show Dates: July 26, 27, August 2, 3, 9, 10 and 11, 2024

  • There is tentative hold on Thursday, August 8th in the event that we add a performance!

• Location: Bevard Studio Theatre, Syracuse, NY

Return to Rydell High to celebrate the class of 1959 in this rock ‘n’ roll musical that took Broadway by storm when it premiered over 50 years ago. Featuring the songs you know and love such as “Summer Nights”, “Greased Lightnin”, “We Go Together”, “Born to Hand Jive”, “Hopelessly Devoted to You” and “You’re The One That I Want”.

Covey Theater is looking to cast individuals 17+ for this production and encourage everyone who is interested in auditioning to join us, no matter race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, and all protected individuals, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Audition Location: Rock Center, 999 Cumberland Ave, Syracuse, NY

• On-Street parking is available on Cumberland Ave and Tecumseh Rd. Be cautious not to block private driveways.

• Please use the Nottingham Rd entrance to the building.

Audition Information:

• Must be age 17 and over.

• Please prepare a 16-32-bar cut of a popular song or showtune of your choosing.

• Please bring sheet music as an accompanist will be provided.

• Dress comfortably for the dance portion of the audition.

• No appointment necessary.

• All roles are open.
